Role in project: 

Fujitsu will define use cases for the NetIDE project and will evaluate how OpenFlow capable IP switches with Software Defined Networking (SDN) support can contribute to realizing a flexible Ethernet Fabric, which is suitable for building solutions around Integrated IT Systems consisting of server, storage and the connecting network infrastructure. During the project Fujitsu will share its Datacom market view regarding emerging SDN solutions and applications and will consider using NetIDE when developing, evaluating and adopting such technologies.
